Arundel Museum - January 2012

Arundel Museum has commenced on site January 2012 with Farnrise as the main contractor. The project includes a new build museum with reception and offices within the shadow of the magnificent Arundel Castle. The works are due to complete on site end 2012 with opening mid 2013.

The Photographers Gallery is close to completion of the main contract and the official opening date has been announced for May 2012.

We have recently been appointed a the overall project managers and design team for Quarr Abbey a working monastery on the Isle of Wight which includes the restoration and preservation of scheduled ancient priory ruins along with repairs to the existing church, external works including ancient woodland management and a new visitor centre within the exiting listed building

Lewes Priory
We are pleased to announce that we have just been appointed as Project Managers for Lewes Priory, a restoration of a Scheduled Ancient Monument of local and national importance. HLF stage 2 submission is due in September 2009 with completion of the works within 18 months.

Photographers Gallery, London
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed a conversion and fit out contract as Project and Construction Managers at Ramillies Street, London. The works involved the creation of new galleries, shop, café and offices within an existing office building to enable the Photographers Gallery to relocate from Great Newport Street to Ramillies Street on a temporary basis whilst the main works development progresses. The works were undertaken with minimal disruption to the client and the relocation has been a great success with positive responses from the public and increased visitor numbers.

The Holburne Museum, Bath
We have now selected and appointed a main contractor for the project, Sir Robert McAlpines, and works are due to commence on this prestigious building development on site in March 2009 with completion due late 2010 and opening early 2011.

Bexhill Museum
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the new Museum development in Bexhill and the issue of Practical Completion and Final Account agreement. The Exhibition Fitting out contract is due to commence on site shortly with the successful Contractor Edwin Dysons appointed for the works. The Museum anticipates re-opening in April / May 2009.

Cultural Centre, Eastbourne
We are pleased to announce that Practical Completion for the main works has been secured in January 2009. The fitting out contracts are now underway with Ocean designs carrying out the storage and racking system installations. ITC carrying out general joinery and shop/ retail fitting out and Convex Leisure carrying out the café / bar fitting out works. The client anticipates being able to open the Cultural Centre in April 2009.

Lewes Castle
We have appointed the main contractors Farnrise to carry out the works to this Scheduled Ancient Monument and the works are currently on programme with an anticipated completion date April 2009.

Heritage Lottery Fund
We are delighted to have been selected by Heritage Lottery Fund to act as one of their Lead Project Monitors for the South and Midlands regions on a 5 year frameworks agreement
