The new £15m development to the Whitworth Art Gallery has now been shortlisted for the 2015 Stirling Prize.
The Stirling Prize is awarded by the RIBA in recognition of the building that has made the greatest contribution to British architecture in the past year.
CMS was the Project Manager on the redevelopment.
We are looking forward to hearing the result, the winner will be announced on the 15th October.
Following the £15m redevelopment to Whitworth Art Gallery, the Whitworth in Manchester has now been named the UK's 2015 Museum of the Year.
The Whitworth was one of six finalists chosen by a panel of judges, who said the Whitworth was "an impressive institution" that had "cemented its place at the centre of the cultural national stage".
Stephen Deuchar, the director of the Art Fund said: The transformation of the Whitworth architecturally, curatorially, and as a destination, has been one of the great museum achievements of recent years.
Our role on this renowned project was of Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of a high-quality £15m extension to the gallery from briefing to completion.
